GST/HST/PST handled at checkout via Stripe Tax CA. No FX surprises, no USD conversion games.

30-day paper-trade gate

Server-enforced per strategy. paper_trade_eligible_at is computed at create-time and checked on every order route. No skip, no override.

Kill switch

Single boolean, server-enforced. Armed = every order route returns 423 Locked AND open positions are flattened. No pause state.

CAD daily loss cap

Per-strategy ceiling on realized + unrealized PnL for the UTC day. Order route 403s once breached. Denominated in CAD, never USD.

What you should know before you click.

No paper-skip option, ever.
The 30-day paper-trade gate is enforced server-side on every order-placement route. It's there to protect you from yourself in week one — and it protects us from being the platform someone blew up an account on.
Tax is handled at checkout.
Stripe Tax CA computes GST/HST/PST based on your billing address. The number on your invoice is the number your card gets charged.
Refunds within 14 days.
Email hello@drumlin.com within 14 days of your first charge for a full refund. After that, cancel anytime from the billing portal and you won't be billed again.
No automated trading without a connected broker.
Drumlin is the strategy engine, not the broker. You bring Questrade or Interactive Brokers Canada; we bring the gates, the kill switch, the loss cap, and the audit log.
Drumlin is not a broker, dealer, or registered investment adviser.
